For anyone that may be interested, Balsam Cove Campground has been under new ownership since March of 2007. The new owners have cleaned up the sites, brought in over 50 loads of gravel to fix the roads, added a wooden pirate ship to the play ground and a sand box. New kayaks, new 16' Jon Boats with brand new engines and new boat docks. Gazebo for the waterfront and now have weekly bonfires and some entertainment on Saturday nights (weather permitting). Bathrooms are newly renovated and exceptionally clean. There are new washers and dryers in the laundry room. They are doing a great job and so far the campground has been quite full. They are friendly and very helpful. I think this campground, those once run down by former owners will now be quite successful. I am a seasonal camper at Balsam Cove.

Nice campground, well kept and restrooms were clean. Would come back again.

Nice campground but crowded. Nice view of the canal to Buzzards Bay, clean restrooms and friendly atmosphere.
